Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of buying a pcmcia adaptor for my command system but from the few images i could find on the net, it looks like these stick out really far from the slot. Is there an adaptor out there that is really compact and sits flush with the slot? I know it's only a cosmetic thing, but it would just annoy me to look at the adaptor & seeing it poking out so far. I would rather it tucked away as much as possible. Could anyone plz make any recommendation or suggestions...

I would not accept any adapter that would not sit flush with the radio face. A standard adapter should do that. You can find one from MB as a spare part (accessory) but if you can find a Sandisk adapter, that would be good (just check that it is the SD HC capable version unless you are after the CF version which would be good and has only one option).

I went to fry's electronics. I bought the I(dot)connect (Frys # 4322715) for $10. I put a 16 Gig San Disc Compact Flash card and it works fine. It sits flush with the face of the stereo. I'll post a pic when I return from the gym.

Oh, I almost forgot, it's a 266x card. Probably a little fast for music, but it works.
