HowTo - Front Speaker retrofit
Hello,
I’m trying to figure out how to upgrade my front speakers in my s204 2011 (facelifted model with comand online) at a rather low budget (max 150€ for the front).
This topic has been already covered in other threads, for Front speaker mounting Vic Viper’s post is very intersting (front door h/k speaker retrofit (how to) ) however photos aren’t shown anymore (and Vic Viper doesn’t reply to my pms)
For the Front speakers type the Infinity Kappa 60.9CS seems to be the "best" (Price in Europe : 110£ (Amazon.co.uk ), here’s the Spec)
However I’ve some questions:
- How to dismount the front door panel.
- Do I have to remove and place new Main speakers, Tweeters and Crossovers?
Also if you have other advices (idealy with photos) on how to do it properly I’ll be glad?

I also wish those pictures showed up. I too want to do this mod. There's a good write of the rears, if you haven't already found it: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...fit-howto.html does reference Vic's DIY a few times, and at least mounting the speakers is appears to be similar.

'11 C350 '13 F150 lariat
door panels are easy. theres 2 screws under the arm pull pull the interior trim around window off and the tweeter cover and pull door panel off. really easy. unhook all the plugs for windows and such and go to work on speakers
