Bumper cover repair / replacement cost

I went to my MB dealer last week and they estimated $800 to repair the scratches on my front bumper cover. ..

I've been looking online and found that you can get the entire bumper cover for around $400. But it needs to be painted.

Do you guys know how much that would cost to paint a front bumper cover and where should I get it done?

2009 C350.

I think Sportstick's estimate included the ~$400 for the bumper cover. I can't imagine a simple and strictly paint job costing $5-600 alone.. $200 sounds about right to paint a new bumper, I would say that instead of getting it repaired for $800, you can definitely haggle a NEW bumper with fresh paint to that price, if not slightly higher no matter where you are located in the U.S. and you will definitely have a higher quality product...

Yes, you understood correctly, "painted and installed new" includes the new part.
