I want to change out the radio on my sons 2007 C280 and need to know if it has the Harman Kardon audio system, without taking the factory radio out. I went MB to and tried to figure out how to sign up for a free account (as I'm too cheap to pay $75 for this piece of info) to no avail.
Will someone look up the VIN and tell me if the car has the harmon kardon radio or not.

1994 SL500, 1989 420SEL, 1997 C230
My 1994 SL500 sat in a garage for 3 years in Las Vegas Nevada and until April of 2016 (this year) sat in another garage for 19 years. When the car was given to me it had not been started in 6 years. The car had 4,300 on it when we started it and now has 5,100 miles. It's a BRAND NEW 22 year old car. Initially it was perfect and had no warning lights (ASR, ABS), idled perfectly and everything worked.
It's now showing every symptom of the dreaded Bio Degradable engine wiring harness problem. Found supposedly brand new non biodegradable harnesses but need to figure out what engine is in it.
Can someone tell me where I can find the Engine number of does it require going to one of the sites listed here?
