Has anyone wrapped their exterior B-Pillar trim-pieces with CF wrap?

I've had a slight mishap with some annoying and unsightly swirls showing up on my exterior gloss-black b-pillar trim when my car is in bright/low sunlight. I'm learning the process of buffing swirls out by using these as test pieces, but so far they're still not perfect. I toyed with the idea of getting CF wrap over them to make it easy, but can't imagine it looking anything but stupid and out of place on my car.

However, in order to be sure, I'm curious to know if anyone's done it to their W204 and if so, any pics?

I had it done in real CF on my 08 and ANZ-C300 has the same trim on his white 08.

Are those the CF trim pieces that you can buy (in gloss CF?). Looks good there! Thing is, I see you have CF around the car and blacked out the aluminum window trim. I'm definitely not looking to go CF heavy, so I'd only do the B-Pillars and the little piece on the rear windows, and I like the aluminum so would keep it exposed. I keep thinking it would look out of place, but on the other hand, the W210 E55's had CF only on the B-Pillars and it looked really good.

Any other pics from further away, or of AZN's car?

I don't know what replacements cost, but they are relatively easy to replace. I've taken one off before.

Interesting. How do you take it off (been wondering that)? Do you have to also remove the rubber surroundings (the rubber that surrounds the border of the doors on the E and C Classes.
