Nice

I'm looking to change/enhance my stock knob with the one mentioned on that German eBay site for 50 euros, kinda tough interpreting the German to English though?

I find Google Translate to be very helpful. Go to:

http://translate.google.com/

Select your languages, and then copy/paste either the item URL or the item description text.

I like this knob as well as some of the ones on the German site. Especially like the contrast stitching and the alcantara versions as well. Problem for us 6MT owners though... no shift pattern! Am I worried about me forgetting... um, no. I can just see at some point dropping the car off for service and the service tech or lot kid, who might not see a whole lot of manual cars come through, can't find "R" and tries to either punch-down or worse yet, think's it's a 5spd so goes all the way right, then down, putting my car into the wall 'cause it's really in 6th!
Ok, so maybe that's a stretch, but my point is... I'd like the shift pattern option on these knobs, please.

If you find a listing though and need help or need someone to translate. Let me know. I am German and I'll gladly help you out.

Scroll down and on the right, take a look at model #2. If you are using Chrome as your browser, there should be a "translate" option at the top so you can read this in English.

For everyone else on this thread, that sure looks like a manual gear shift knob, and not an automatic. Is that what everyone is understanding? I didn't think all on this thread had a stick!

Works for first eBay page only?

Understood, tried that, however when you go on to the next eBay web page, the translation reverts back to all German?

Thanks for the advice

Sportstick,

Greetings, and thanks for that advice, I have been using firefox as the browser for viewing the German eBay site, I use a MacBook Pro notebook, so I will indeed try tonight after work this afternoon using Google Chrome and see how that works for me?

I had been able to use firefox and have the front page translated, however when I enter the money amount it takes me to the next web page and it reverts back to German, I've tried almost everything to view this eBay site and order the shift knob?

regards

Yah, i've seen that one before and don't like it for some reason. Too "fat" on the column part. The stock one and the ones on the German site quickly taper down. Personal preference I suppose...

I'm just curious.. can you use a manual shift knob instead of an automatic on?
For aesthetic purposes?
Like this one?

This one has wrong "R" position... It should point up (i.e. next to "1" instead of "2").
