Hi All,

New member- wanted to know if anyone had any advice as far as finding clear side markers for a 2012 C300? Getting sick of looking at these orange reflectors!

Does replacing the orange side marker also require a new bulb under it? How easy is this to install

 

I was interested in this as well. I'll continue to search and post back if I find anything...

 

My local body shop owner is checking in with a few places to see where he can get these, I will know/have them installed by the end of the week if he is able to get them. I will keep you posted.

 

Great I'd like to know. My wife accidentally dented the hood of my car in the garage, so it might be in the shop soon anyway...

Excellent product. You can get them with the LEDs or without. I got these housings and used my own amber LEDs. Very happy with the result. The only problem with the stock bulb or with white LED is that I don't think it's legal. The passenger side is very easy to do through the engine bay. For the drivers side, you need to turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, remove the plastic tabs on the wheel well, pull back the plastic, and access it from there.

 

those marker say 2007-2011, wonder if they are good for the 12s?

 

No they will not work. I don't know if they are available for the '12s yet.

 

Bumping this thread. If anyone knows where to find the clear or smoke side markers for the 2012 C-Class, please let us know. The side markers changed with the face lift.

 

Just buy a dark tint and tint the side marker. If yellow really bothers you. But for now nothing is available. I checked europe already.

 

Thanks Pinoy. Hoping someone designs these soon. Would like to get clear with orange LEDs.

 

Have them painted or wrapped in 3M 1080 vinyl depending on car color.
The clear or smoked are better than orange, but colormatched is the best.
