Cartronics Anystream
Has anyone tried this product before. I was thinking about getting one so that I wouldn't have to run a wire through my center console.

We do have a VideoKey for a 2008 C Class (make sure you can see video while in Park)... but that is not related to the Anystream - so wanted to make sure you were asking for other reasons?

Yes i can see the DVD while park and I also like the HDTV unit does that work too? How hard is it to get install?

The DVD unlock is quite easy to install. The VIM required for the HDTV is just a little harder, but still pretty easy.

Yes we do, and we are growing the library every day! However, several items are in print only. We have had a couple of companies try to knock off our work...so we had to make it for purchasers only.

I've had one for a few months. I'm fairly pleased, but there is a lot of engine whine that comes through the speakers with the any stream vs. my directly connected iPod. Also, pushing in on the brake at a stop light will create a high pitched whine through the anystream. But not bad, just hoping for a little better since it uses more bandwidth than any other bluetooth streaming device.

That would be from the iPod connection cable. The Anystream runs at 2.4Ghz - so no engine whine is possible from the Anystream itself. However, the iPod kit used in many MB is of dubious quality and we have seen this MANY times when we service for the dealer (with and without an Anystream). Most techs do not properly ground or route the cable correctly.
If you take the box out, you will see a ground connection that is often not connected at all (or even cut off!!) Just ground the unit properly, and your noise will go away. Also make sure the cable goes under the glovebox and up to the opening or over the top - NOT behind the glovebox. This makes a big difference too.
