Looks nice! Did your car previously have a spoiler? I didn't order one on my car and am already regretting it...even before taking delivery! Do you know what steps are required to install a spoiler on a car that doesn't have one? Thanks.

Clean it
Fit it
Stick it
The spoilers are installed with 3M tape. If the surface is prepped correctly (I use either 3M Wax remover or Rubbing Alcohol), the spoiler will stay put indefinitely. Some use a bead of Silicone or Urethane, but I don't recommend it.

Bought the spoiler from ebay, $145 shipped, got it in 3 days, and took 2 minutes to install. really happy with the fitment. its not flush to the edges of the trunk opening but it looks great

That's good to hear! I assumed it was bolted down and would require drilling. Thanks for the info, and congrats on your new CF look!

Yes. If the manufacturer doesn't use the UV protection in the clearcoat it will yellow over time. The UV additive is Extremely expensive from what I've heard.

Yes if you park outdoors you will get maybe a year to year and a half before it will bug you enough to replace it. I know I went the CF route on my 2008 and had three different CF trunk spoilers. Now if the spoiler was from Eurotek or one of the other high end CF part suppliers that would be a different story as the clear they use is UV resistant. These E-Bay parts coming from China claim to have it but don't. Like I said I had been there and done that. Now all my old CF stuff is painted 040 black to match the 2011.
