M3 - C63 blk/blk ordered
Has anyone ordered the rear powered sunshade?
Just took delivery of my '12. I had ordered 540 – Power Rear Window Sunshade, which is $440. I was surprised to see only a powered rear shade, but no manual sunshades on the rear doors. The owner's manual clearly shows that there is a manual shade option. So I am trying to figure out of they were supposed to be part of the package or not.

Thanks for any insight.

I was going to order it but decided not to in the end. I was lead to believe that it included the side shades as well...

I had the same question after I bought my 2011 C. My dealer has never seen a US C-Class with rear side manual sun shade. I don't think rear side shade is available with US C-Class. Operation manual is inaccurate.

Here in Germany the power rear sunshade and the manual window shades are two separate options which both cost almost the same.

The option is only for the power rear sunshade. The shades for the rear passenger doors is not an option for a C in the US currently.

If you have tinted windiows it is a waste. I have it on my 2011 and have used it once.
