I was the yellow Lamin-x pioneer. After all of Lamin-x's attempts to correct the issue (5 sets so far), the films still burn after a few months. Your option is to switch to HID foglights bulbs since they run cooler. I chose to switch to Yellow Hella H7 bulbs. Hella is the OEM brand for the lights/bulbs. They have the "clean look" when parked, but look Bad-A$$ when on. The other option (no sure how it would hold up on the front of a car) is Glass Paint. I had purchased some from a Michaels craft store and changed some bulbs from clear to amber on my previous car. The sell it in bottles or in a paint-pen (which is what I used).

What about on the headlights, does lamine-x get burned? I just ordered a set of nokya hyper yellow and polarg bulbs for the eyelids.

No. I never had any problems with the headlight films except for shrinkage. That is easily fixed if you follow the instructions and don't trim so closely. It can take 1-2 weeks for the film to completely cure.

Oh. I grew up on the west side, near the Middlebury border (but that was back in the 1970s-1980s). Anyway, I think a lot of it has to do with the color of your car. IMHO, either amber OR white would look great on a black or white (like yours) car. Mine is silver, and I think yellow wouldn't look right on mine, especially since everything else is "cleared out" in front (6,000K HIDs, 5,000K eyebrows, 5,000K high beams, and cleared front sidemarkers).
