the best way is to get the replica AMG tips, you wanna avoid using the stock MB tips. The problem w our tips is they are hollow in back, where as the replicas come in 2.25 pipe inlet and are easier to fabricate and look better. the guys that use the stock tips and buy a second set dont get a great outcome. If you get low to the ground and look at the tips at ground level u can see right thru them cause they are hollow. get the 2.25 inlet one you will be happy w the outcome

mhad2480- I went with the stock C63 diffuser.
jimmythegreek- I agree. My exhaust shop suggested the same thing. Do you know where I can get some replica tips? I have tried eBay but the inlet on the eBay replica tips all point either up from the tips or curved to fit the older E and S class models.

I might have some for sale. I bought em a long time ago meaning to do quads but I never got around to it. I'll take some pictures tonight and get back to you. Actually, before that though, where are you located? I'm not sure if I'm willing to ship as it's just extra time/$$$ down the drain.

I'm doing the same thing atm. Already got the C63 Diffuser and a pair of stock C300 tips. my local dealer is asking $120 for the brackets(pair) and don't really feel like paying that. If anybody has a set, let me know

Here are the pictures. I'm not quite sure how much I want for them but feel free to shoot me offers. I paid about $140 for the set from another user who apparently has long since vanished. The tips are slightly bigger (in terms of circumference) than the stock ones but still fit with any C63 diffusers.
I have the tips pictured with a CF diffuser that is also for sale if anyone's interested. I bought the diffuser off of CA-C300 who bought it off of some other member who had advertised it as new. CA-C300 didn't install the diffuser after he bought it though and instead sold it to me, who also hasn't installed it. Now the reason I didn't install it is 1. out of laziness and 2. It turns out that the diffuser wasn't quite new and is missing all of the tabs, had the brackets epoxied on, and has a few nicks in the clear coat. Pictures are attached. If you are interested in it, you'll most likely have to secure the diffuser on with some sort of adhesive as well, in addition to the torx screws on the sides and the brackets.
Once again, local buyers preferred. Otherwise you'll have to pay extra for shipping.

ive seen the ones u need on ebay before, there was a kid selling them cheap in the classifieds, like maybe a year ago, if you search the classifieds for quad or diffuser u will see it. his email was like "slo" w sum numbers after it i think. the pics snarlingchicken posted are exactly what you want to use, the ones ive seen are actually black at the back part that you weld not all silver, but either way works. 2.25 is ideal 2.5 will work too they will just expand the stock exhaust on the car side and that will mate up w 2.5 and work, look around they are out there and on ebay, you will prob have to general search and then spend time looking thru the items, they wont pop up w a specific search, maybe AMG tips will work
