My center mesh piece directly underneath the grill was destroyed by some cardboard on the highway, I just picked up a new piece. I was wondering if anyone had experience putting it on, I don't know if I need to take the front bumper off or if i can just pop it in, its hard to tell. Any help would be appreciated.

You have to take the bumper off the car to do it

If you have access to a lift you can do it from underneath the car. You remove the front engine guard that you pull to do an oil change and then pull the guard from the bumper cover to that front engine guard. It gives u enough room to work in. That piece has press locks on it, take a look at it and you will see all the little tabs that hold it. You can just break the old one out if you have to in peices and snap the new one in. not too bad if you can get under the car otherwise pull the bumper cover. takes a half hour if you have a lift, may be worth to have a shop do it for you if you have no access to lift
