Smile Puddle lights

Hello,

I am a newbie here who is the proud owner of a 2012 C300. I was looking through the forums to find instructions on how to replace the puddle lights on the side view mirrors with LED and couldnt find it. Could someone please help me? Also, what kind of LED is recommended for the puddle lights? Thanks in advance

I believe the puddle lights are new for 2012 because no 2008-11 W204 have them, because of this there probably isn't much information on it yet.

im in the same situation right now...ive checked everywhere but i think the only way to change it is to dissassemble the whole side mirror. hopefully there is an easier way.

EDIT: I meant to ask if the glass actually pop off or is it stuck?
