I am really fortunate to find this thread! I am also on the verge of ordering a custom-built C350 from Beshoff. I like the dealership, but they are not budging down from MSRP. Can you share what kind of deal you got from them? Please PM me if you do not wish to share publicly.
On another note, in recent J.D.Power initial quality study Mercedes was in 2nd spot -- so I hope the problems with your car is an isolated incident. I am sure after the initial glitches are take care of, you shall have hours of happy motoring in that one

I certainly hope so. Regarding get you the best deal, I suggest to talk to Johnny Ngo. Tell him that you are referred by me. He is a very good sales buy at Beshoff. Very responsive and helpful. He should also give you good deal. The most important thing is he still takes care of me after my purchase which is totally different from my previous purchase experience from Fletcher Jones at Fremont.

ordered back in 9/2/2011 from Germany on 2/28/2012. It has been a very long wait for my order. So far it has been working pretty OK. I had a 2011 C300 lemon back in 2010. It took me almost 2 years to get back to MB again. Wish me luck.Hi,

My car shakes during cold start within the first 1000 miles. Then the compressor has loud noise. The dealer had to replace it. Then the two front shocks also had noise when the car went over bump. They also need to replace it. My car end up in the shop for total over one month. In addition, I strongly suspected my car got taken out for joy ride because there was one weekend the car was out as recorded in the system, but I was not been told the car will be out. There were about 50 miles got put on my car. I told them I don't want the car since I only own for 3, 4 months. The car has in and out the shop for so long. A couple time they claimed that they nailed the problem, but they didn't. For a brand new car, that's totally unacceptable.
The reason I came back to MB is C350 has the features which I wanted. I still like the design of MB's car; however, I do have the concern about their QA quality because there are still some problems with my brand new C350.

what is happening to merc quality, cannot believe your new merc gave you so many problems. My dad drove my car the other day and he commented how inexpensive it felt, it doesn't feel like it would last forever unlike the older mercs. Anyways glad you got 2012, hope you are enjoying it..
