2008 C300 Sport (w204)
![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I wrecked my 2008 Mercedes C300 Sport (w204) and bought it back from the insurance to fix it. It sustained a fair damage to the passenger side where the Front Right suspension got the most damage along with engine cradle and bumper(R side); the driver air bag deployed too. Long story short, the vehicle was running after the wreck. 1 month later the vehicle would still run. I got into the project, replaced the cradle, and installed new right side suspension. I took off the air bag (still off) and had to take off radiator to perform some work but its back on. The problem is that the vehicle won’t START/RUN any more… Every time I turn the key the vehicle makes a click sound and that's it; the motor won't turn. The battery checks ok. Everything else works e.g. lights , stereo, alarm, windows, all....Any Ideas????
FYI
A friend said it could be the inertia switch or the engine immobilizer on the Car. I’m not sure if Mercedes has these safety features. And if they do, I don’t know where they would be… Does anyone Know ? PLEASE HELP

2008 C300 Sport (w204)
i took the car to the dealer, they said the ignition starter fuse has blown but can not be replaced since it a big amperage fuse that is not sold separately therefore the only solution is to replace the entire fuse block ( fuse box with applicable fuses) . This fuse block , as Mercedes calls it, carries 4 major fuses. The cost of repair , including labor, a whopping 980 dlls ... Any ideas out there??? it is hard to believe a fuse can't be replace ! that why i'm asking the vehicle is 2008 c300 (204) Mercedes sedan... Please help
