comand screen
so from what ive been reading this has been some what of a common problem
so yesterday i notice from the corner of the command screen that it was fading. i touched it and it was hot more then normal so i decided to close so it'll cool down. next day it flipped open and it was ok.. in the night the screen started to flicker, i closed it and opened it again and it was fine. then this morning it flicked again and i did the same but kept flickering, after doing it 4 times it stop but now is started doing a shiizzing noise like a short.. i closed it and let it be.
i take it that the screen is pretty much trash not, but instead of buying a used one (700$) has anyone tried sending it out for repair or located that actually problem?

I dont think that a local shop or electronices place will be able to fix the complex electronics on the screen my best bet is get a used one on ebay ive seen screens there for like $300, and you save yourself the hassle of having to go through the problem all over again.
