Mirror light stays on??
I have had my 2012 C250 for less than a week but have noticed when driving or the key is turned on the passenger side light on the bottom of the rearview mirror stays on dim the entire time. The drivers light on the mirror goes out but no matter which buttons I press (even turning the light "on" and "off") it stays dim when in the "off" position. Isn't there a way to turn this light off or is it supposed to stay on?

Hmm, okay. It just seems weird that the one light on the right stays on but the light on the left goes out. I would have thought they would either both function in that capacity or neither. Odd.

Now I got confused myself after checking it in he operator's manual. Mine is 2011. On page 30, in the picture, the little opening next to right reading light is "Integrated electrinic compass". Does it mean the "compass indicator", light on = working compass?
On the left reading light side, there is a smaller opening on the actual rear view mirror but there is none in the picture. Further more, on page 235, the environment light is called a button which can be pushed to call up the compass.
I don't think this operator's manual is 100% accurate for C-class in the US market.
