Hi Guys,

Before making my purchase I wanted to see what the MBworld Community had to say- Below are my 4 options- I plan to purchase from "jb Speed" who seems to have a loyal following....

Ideally I would love to purchase the Carbon Fiber Brabus style (2) but am unsure about carbon on a black car? My other concern is that Brabus might look overbearing on the car?

2-http://www.jbspeed.com/servlet/the-86/Mercedes-Benz-W204-fdsh-C63-Brabus/Detail (Agressive and Unique)

3-http://www.jbspeed.com/servlet/the-85/Mercedes-Benz-W204-fdsh-C63-Brabus/Detail

4-http://www.jbspeed.com/servlet/the-91/Mercedes-Benz-W204-Painted/Detail (Classic which is why this appeals to me)

My opinion of the Brabus spoiler is that it does look overbearing by itself, but if you have other mods like nice wheels, a front lip and quad tips it looks good. Same thing with carbon fiber, just one carbon fiber spoiler on the back looks a bit ricer.

If it were me, I would just go with the classic painted black.

I am more a fan of the classic painted version. I don't really like the look of carbon fiber, as it is in virtually every aftermarket accessory for other cars you can find it on a lot of cheap cars which makes it seem cheap in my mind, even if I know it's not. I like the original more than the brabus style.

Agree with other posters that black would be better to go with if you are just getting a wing, however if you plan on getting other CF pieces to match the wing. I personally like the brabus style vs oem, I plan on getting a replica brabus painted in silver sometime after I convince myself it is worth it.

I like either one painted black and do not think the Brabus one is over the top if it is body color matched - I got "yelled at" on here once before for saying carbon fiber does not go well with black cars, but still feel that way..It looks great on all shades of silver and white, on black cars I think stick with black...good luck.

I like the "AMG style" CF version. If you decide you want a black AMG Spoiler- PM me.

I prefer the classic look. I personally think a carbon fiber attachment screams "aftermarket, doesn't match". But that's just me.

I've got the carbon fiber (#1) on my car and it is very subtle. From any more than 10 feet away you don't even know its carbon. and plus if you get sick of it you can spray paint it black and you're no worse off than before
