Protecting door handle scoops?

I have a 2012 c250 that is white. I know on my white truck the inside scoops of the door handles have become scratched to no end because of years of fingernails when opening the door. I did some searching online but haven't found any site that offers precut film to protect those areas. I thought about visiting a tint shop that does "invisible car bras" since it's probably the same material that could be used. Anyone done this to protect their doors?

That would work... You can even get the film used to protect cell phones at any walmart.(a friend of mine did it to protect it from hids wife's enormous rings.) it works well and is invisible(much thinner than a car bra).

May also consider... they make a chrome insert to go in there that looks pretty decent esp if you have other chrome accents...
But i would definitely take a look at DIY phone screen protectors.

Good Luck!!!

That's actually a pretty good idea. I might try that seeing as my fiance already scratched the clear plastic housing on the gauge cluster. She went to wipe off some dust and scratched it with her ring. She already thinks I'm crazy so might as well.

When I had my clear bra done, they did the area under the door handles. Love it because finger nail scratches have always driven me nuts.

I have this on my CT200h. The guy who installed bumper/hood film also did the top of the rear bumper for loading/unloading and door handle cups and even the edges of the doors for free. He said he just used the trimmed-off pieces from the front. Talk to your tint installer about it!

Dude, the benz stays in the garage, but we've actually been getting some rain here now and my gf has to drive on main roads in Salinas with produce fields on both sides and the *** tractors get dirt all over the place so I haven't bothered to wash it lately. I know, no excuses. It's like a 1/2-3/4 inch scratch and it's not really that bad, but it just bugs me when I see it.
