rear camera installation & license plate question

rear camera installation & license plate question

I found this rear camera sony CCD

My question is if I have to remove license plate cover, do I need to remove license plate lamp in order to install this camera?
If yes, is it will produce error message on our cluster? Like license plate problem.
If anyone had install this rear camera style , please give me a suggestion.

Hey how are you. Does your camera is plug and play? I mean will you have to connect the cables and thats it? or does it required other components? I will be interested in seeing some pics of the installation process and how does it actually look. Thank you good luck.

Very interesting backup cam. I have a Kenwood CMOS-200 installed on mine but not using the license plate light. Please post pics after your installation.
