ETG ECU Tune

Has anyone done the ECU tune by ETG (ECU Tuning Group)? They are listed as a vendor here on MBworld and show pretty close to the same figures on HP gains and such. Their price is much better than Renntech and the MB dealer (down in Florida?) with pretty much the same results.

Anyone?

Not sure how their tunes are but the past drama with them in the c63 forums has me edgy lol. I don't think customer service is one of their big points.

Thx snarling. I will check out the c63 forum. I just searched our forum and didn't see anything. ETG cost is half that of Renntech. I am just having a hard time grasping near $1300 for a 22 hp gain. And am not sure what the difference is between each of their tunes when both claim about the same performance improvements.

Holy cow! That's a lot of drama. After reading all that I still can't seem to find out much about their actual product. I thought this forum was better than that in that we are all about our cars and how to improve them and not get into personal jabs.

I am VERY tempted with going with ETG just to prove a point--someone has to go first, right? so far my emails with their customer service has been good.

Has anyone actually had their C350 done here or has all the banter scared everyone away?

Let me know if you do your C350. I would like to see how it works out on yours.
