I refuse to pay the ridiculous amount that Brabus want for these CF inserts. I have tried ordering replicas several times off ebay that just turn out to be a crap sticker rather than actual molded hardened CF.

Has anyone found a reliable source for good ones?

I really want a set of these for my car, but my concern is how well does the vinyl hold up along the edges, and can you see and clear around the edges.

Nothing will compare to the authentic Brabus covers. I kick myself because a few years back someone was selling a set for $150 and I should have grabbed them. CEC even ran a special a while back with "Clearance" prices on Brabus. These were not part of the sale because they were not in stock and had to be ordered from Germany. I have a set off of ebay and they are real CF, but are flexible. They don't look bad but I would prefer a thicker, more rigid piece.

There was a set available off the bay or maybe it was a member here years ago that was real CF. Sorry I don't remember the sellers name. I think Mike has them on his car.

I am thinking about becoming a sponsor over the next couple weeks, at which time this will be one of my first projects. It seems like no one makes reasonably priced parts for our our cars. If all goes well, no later than May 1st I will be a sponsor with a small line of beautiful parts at a working man's price. Worst case scenario, maybe the big guys like Brabus will see a slight decrease in sales and lower their prices a tad.
Feel free to PM with any requests for the manufacture of some stuff...
