Cell phone advice

I have a 2008 C300 4matic sport, no nav, and also need a new cell phone. Can anyone tell me where to find an up to date list of the currently compatible phones? At the MB owners site it lists several phones, many of which are out dated or have been discontinued or replaced by a new model. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you foryou kind reply. Perhaps I did not ask the question properly, so I'll try it this way: Since this list was "published" there are probably new models of cellphones not on the list out now, and my question should be are there any of those newer model phones in addition to those phones on the MB list that will work?

I checked the list for 08-11 MY and it seems to be very current as far as phones. Are you looking for Bluetooth connectivity, audio, etc?

Blackberry Torch was new in the 4th quarter of 2011. If it is on the list it should work. It works perfectly as a phone and uploaded all of our contacts in a 2012 GLK.

I have a cheap-o phone not on the list that works perfectly with the Bluetooth system. I don't think you have to worry much about compatibility because Bluetooth isn't a really complex system unique to different brands.

I doubt it's a priority to keep that phone list up to date with the low end phones because they're not a phone company.

Thank you all. Good advice- I think the problem solved. My current Pantech would not be "recognized" while my wife's i phone 4s was. Again, thank you and now Ihave a direction to go. Hope to return the favors some day.
