Warranty on Used Car
My friend really likes my car, so he's looking at an 08 C-class, and he's wondering about what he can do about warranty. The car has 23K miles, and I'm pretty sure it's not CPO (it's not at a MB dealership). So what are his options with warranty? Can he get warranty from MB?

You can ask the dealer where the car is sold at for a car fax report. It will tell you if it is under the original factory warranty which is 4years / 50k miles. He will also be able to get a aftermarket warranty on the car when or if the runs out. It will be around under 3k depending in what he gets. Hope that helped I just got my c350 so that was what my experience was.

I agree with the people above. Definitely look for additional warranty when it comes to a Mercedes or any other luxury vehicle. My advise if he cannot get the warranty from MB is to look at CPO vehicles or a well tendered vehicle from a private seller.

You should buy cars from those dealers who are repudiated and provide certified pre-owned cars warranties. Apart from this you should check that whether the CPO warranty is transferable. You should also check that can you extend the CPO warranty.
