So the dial in my 2008 C350 has malfunctioned. It responds only to the clicks in, left and right but does not scroll. Anybody have this issue? I searched and nobody has run into it yet. I have the HK system with the bigger screen, forgot what the package was called.

Any thoughts?

Search again. It has been addressed multiple times within the first 3 pages of posts.

I just had my COMMAND control knob replaced two days ago for the same symptom. I have an '09 C350 with nav, 35,000 miles.

Bumping this because a search has not found a real solution other than to fix it under warranty, which I do not have. Any help people??

That is the only answer. Unless you are an electrical genius and have the equipment to trouble shoot the component- you will have to have it replaced. It is a well-known issue that Mercedes is aware of. I am living with it because I don't trust the parts on ebay, and I was told the dealership charges close to $300 for the part (it's a whole module under the console). Sorry for the bad news.

had mine replaced as well from the dealer. They did it for free though. I actually went 3 months with the problem and it was so annoying.
