Headlight Suggestions? (Not looking for Xenon installation)
Hi All
I just got the "low beam" warning. I have been using Philips Crystalvision for about 8 months or so, and they have been decent. Before that i had GP thunders which had crappy light output imho. I would go for the xenon install, but my lease is up in 10 months.
I was looking to see if anyone can suggest something differnt, maybe a bit more "HID" looking than the crystalvisions. I did like them, but they were a bit too white. I have been looking for xtremevision (also by Philips) but the price is much higher, and looks like it is harder to find.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I need to make an order quickly before the police start stalking me!
Thanks in advance

You can give sylvania silverstar ultras a shot. They're way brighter than oem and go for around $35 on amazon. They do burn out quicker though for being so bright because they burn hotter. You can also look at GE nighthawk platinum at half the cost. I've never tried them though so I can't say how well they will perform.
If you don't mind waiting a bit longer, you can try ddmtuning hids for $30. You do need an extra harness to cancel any error messages so it'll round to about the same price. You probably don't want to drill holes in the plastic covers though since your lease is almost up and replacements will add to the cost.

Not looking for HIDs right now. In fact I have an unused set. I just don't have the head for it due to the small area to work with.
Domm thanks for your recommendation on the sylvania set, can you comment if they have a slight blue tint that might resemble HID? I don't want it too white or too blue (not much bluer than oem xenons)

Sorry if I'm going off subject..
Has anyone tried third party headlights?
Here's what I found in the UK ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MERCEDES-C...item256d9371e0
They look ok but if I'm paying so much money, I'd wanna have something amazing.
Has anyone seen anything better out there?
