I'm not sure if this is a re-post or not, but I came across this article and I thought that i'd share... apparently AMG with the help of HPE(subsidiary(?)) are working their magic on the 201hp 1.8 liter turbo 4 found in the C250 - A larger turbo, increase of bore and stroke, revised head, valvetrain and manifold help raise output to a tune of over 340hp! Apparently the new motor will debut in the upcoming A25 AMG. I really hope this version of the M271 DE18LA can make it's way into the new W205! Or even a slightly de-tuned version that can hold it's own against BMWs N20 found in the new F30 chassis 328.
