KEYLESS GO "GONG"
Have a 2012 C350 with Keyless Go. When I shut off the car and open the door, there is a "gong" and a message saying "Don't Forget Your Key." I get that.
What I don't get is when I unlock the car to get in, it does the same thing, which is pretty annoying. Shouldn't the car know whether I'm getting in or getting out?

But how the hell do these little glaring bits of stupidity make it out of the factory so friggin often? It's absurd!! On an S Class no less!
Quick examples:
Why have thy removed the sunroof warning chime / icon that my 2005 had? It was great. Why did they remove tunnel mode in the 2012? Why was COMAND online released not supporting iPhone or Android? (Yes, I realize the iPhone doesn't follow DUN standards, but MB should have made the system compatible with Apples standard purely based on the popularity of the phone. Why no more REST mode when all the hardware is still there?
In the 2012 models, you CANNOT have the ignition in accessory mode while parked at night with the lights off. IMPOSSIBLE. Best you can do is parking lights only.
I could write a huge list of these things but I'll spare you guys. Maybe we should have a thread titled "What was Mercedes thinking?!" and formalize / submit a list to them for their consideration.
