*Need Help* Headlights....
I have a 2009 MB c300 with non-xenon headlights. I just brought it into my local MB dealer to get service done and they gave me a 2012 c250 loaner (cool car, Turbo 4 cylinder, good gas mileage too
). So anyway the car also had non-xenon headlights, however the headlights seamed to be much brighter.
Does anybody know if the 2012 c's have a brighter bulb that I can upgrade mine too, or is it an entire new light system?
Thanks!

Doesn't the 2012 non-xenon come with non-projector headlights? I think with non-projectors, light is more scattered vs. projectors which have a focused beam. Upgrade to HIDs with your 2009 c300 if you want something that is "much brighter"

Well, they come with bi-xenon projector headlights if you get the lighting package. Its sad that a Mercedes doesn't use projectors as standard.
If you want something inexpensive, most people recommend DDM which are about $30 for the kit and you need to buy an error canceling harness with it. I can't tell you much more about them since i've never used them.
I use Morimotos from theretrofitsource and they're $150 with free shipping if you apply the coupon code. They're really high quality HIDs that come with the can-bus harness. I've had them for about 3 months and no problems with them so far in terms of flickering, errors, or etc. They come with a 5 year warranty (which is essentially the life of the kit with normal usage).
