Did I lose battery power?
I got in my car this morning, and after driving abut half a mile, I noticed my phone was not connected like it always did when I start the car. About 20 minutes later I parked at work and discovered that my car Bluetooth no longer had my phone at all. I lost all my contacts, and I also lost all the preset radio channels.
Although all this can be fixed very simply, and it never happened before, I'm just not sure what caused it. Everything is reprogrammed and things are back to normal.
I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary. I did not forget any lights on (Always on A) or any doors ajar, and the car started without any hesitation this morning
Any thoughts?

It does sound like a battery issue, maybe some faulty/loose wiring? I haven't seen anyone with alternator issues yet, but its probably not the alternator or your car wouldn't have started at all if the battery was dying
If you're still under warranty (I assume you are) then you can get it checked out.

If it was the battery, you would not have been able to start the car. But it certainly sounds like an electrical "glitch". Might just be a ground connection for whatever components the stereo/contacts use. Those can be a pain to track down. Definitely something worth talking to the dealer about.

Thanks, guys.
It is definitely an electrical glitch, and the car is still under warranty so I'll be visting the dealer. I hate going to dealers. I think of them as hospitals; the more you stay at the hospital, the more you stay at the hospital, you know?
Thanks again
