Auto window switch wont go up
Today my drivers door window started acting up. the auto works fine when pressing down. When pressing up, after I let go of the button and the window will stop going on. As if something is holding down the glass. The sensor it's telling it to stop I guess. I hold it manually to the top and once it reaches the top it rolls back down about 1/4 inch. Anybody know what this could be?

You can try recalibrating it. I think its something like.. holding the window button for 10 seconds. Something like that.. don't quote me on that, but its worth a shot.

yes. try holding up all four window buttons simultaneously. hold for more then 10 secs see if that helps.

Same thing happened to my front passenger door (left side - I'm in the UK). I did the reset procedure three times and it fixed it.
Press the window switch (for the window concerned) to take the window down and hold it for 5 secs. Then take the window up again and hold it for 5 secs after it closes. Did this x3 and it all functions perfectly again. :) |

Same exact thing happened to me a couple months ago. I couldn't recalibrate it so I just took it in to my local mb dealer and they fixed it.

Exactly what I needed! My front passenger window does the exact same thing cuz my dog stuck her nose in the way as it was going up :(
Thanks for the post tasho |

Correct. If no one remembers exactly how to recalibrate it, check the onwer's manual. I remember it stating how to do this.
