C250 coupe - blown center speaker
My car is in the shop and they gave me a rental C250 coupe. I like the car, but the center speaker on the front dashboard seems to be blown out. The speaker emits a rattle/static sound unless I adjust the FADAR all the way to the rear.
My car is gonna be down for at least a week, so I want to know if it is possible to pop off the grill on the dashboard to access the speaker? I'm thinking I'll just disconnect it for the week and reconnect it when I bring it back. I don't want to ask the dealer for a new rental over a blown speaker...but it is annoying.
Any ideas how I can disable this speaker manually...or electronically if it is even possible (other then my trick of using the FADAR button).
I already tired toggling between logic 7 off/on and it doesn't make a difference.
