opinion on a c250 4matic

I need your opinions on a car I want to buy for my other half. The car is a 2011 C250 4matic Special Edition (tenorite grey) with only 3900 kilometers. I was being given $39,000 out of the door price (taxes and all the fees included).

Is that a fair deal? (fellow canadians please chime-in on your experience on buying such car with the said option)

I drove it and I know it is a far cry from the C300s and C350s I had as loaner cars but for the wife I think it is good enough as she doesn't feel the difference between a 60kph to a 120kph

GLK 250
Hmmm, I got mine brand new around $50,000 on the road. I dont know why you feel so much different between 250 and 300, cause they only have 20 hp different :s. Honestly, I have no regret getting the c250 4 matic. The car runs awesome in winter time with stock tires.... Maintenance fee is acceptable, hmmmm.... O! Gas, you probably looking @ $80 for 550 km (highway & city), which is ok ... Not too nad for a all wheel drive vehicle.

Mine c250 got the command navi package, premium package 1, and amg sport package.... I think the c class will suk without the navi will suk... I also installed the backup camera , which is not hard... Got the spoiler from JBspeed... I do think c250 is a great car for daily drive. You really no need a 3.5 Litter engine for regular drive, special when you stuck in traffic

I drive mine 60$ for 500km in long distance drive, 2.5L is cool enought if you don't need to mod the engine

2012 C300 4Matic
This gets confusing. European C250 4matic is not the same engine (hp) as the American C250, correct?

The NA 2.5 engine only has 201 hp and 181 lb of torque. If I get 9.5/100km I'll be happy as I get 13.5-14 on my glk 350 4matic. Few things I would definitely mod is the rearview mirror and placing aftermarket HIDs on the car.

shoot....maybe I'll just get her a hyundai elantra and just cover my ears not to hear her cursing me while she enters the car LOL!

Lots of confusion, do this to make things more clear:

______________ *** All Members, New and some Old *** _______________

please click on User CP at the top left of page, just below the thread title. Then add the following to either Profile and/or Signature , selecting buttons on the left side of that page:

year, model, if it's a diesel, Sport or Lux, 4MATIC or RWD, Location (city & state), and non-US country if applicable.

This helps others respond to issues, like tires, spring options, part sales, etc. Thanx

__________________________________________________ _____

FWIW, in Canada, the C250 4MATIC gets the 2.5L V6 with 181 ft-lb , and the rwd gets the I4 1.8L Turbo with 229 ft-lb of torque.

In the US, all C250's get the 1.8L turbo.

.

2013 E350 4M Wagon & 2013 C350 4M Sedan
The engine in my wife's 2012 c250 4m is a disgrace to the rest of the car. Having no hid or Sirius also sucks. The rest is ok, but I'd get a c300 instead if I had to do it again.

Also, my 2012 e350 wagon gets better gas mileage than the c250.

How much in total is the shipping cost you paid for the spoiler my friend?
