Help to install c300 drivers lock
When I removed the door panel, I found a grey galvanized panel with rivets. Can someone help me to understand if I need to remove the whole interior panel and why? or removing some of the rivets get me access to remove the lock? the lock is broken internally.

That is one hell of a job, have done it myself And recommend taking it to a garage if you don't have the right tools, every single rivet needs to be drilled out, the outside door Handle need to be removed in order to change the the lock, everything is connected to each other so all need to come off, them rivets also hold the window regulator in place so be careful

One more detail needed
Do I need to drill only the rivets that hold the grey panel in place? Then the window system will come out as part of the grey panel? Or do I need to remove the rivets of the window bars at the top and the bottom? Sorry for my ignorance of terms, what means the window regulator? Thanks for help me understand the process. I already drilled 4 rivets, but stop the process becasue ai thought that I can remove rivets in one side allowing me to pill the grey panel just enought to remove the lock. I will appreciate if you provide more details about the process because will be difficult for me to get it to a garage. Thanks a lot for your help on this matter
