Hi everyone,

I am in Aus and going to buy a 2010 mercedes avantgarde 250 cgi in white...

It has the led daytime running strips at the bottom. My question is, i would like to put the amg bodykit on it, but i noticed the kits only come with standard foglights...

what do i do with the led strips on the current car?

Where is the AMG kit coming from. Dealer wants about $8,000 for the two bumpers and skirts and that's before fitting and painting.

You'll lose the LED strips. From conversion kits I've seen, the connectors should be the same.

I wanted to get an AMG kit too, but they are really expensive if you dont get them as on option when you get the car if you got it new. 8k sounds about right without paint. Thats about what the dealers are asking. I was trying to find some second hand ones from yards but i havent got any replies yet. Where are you planning to get yours? If your getting a new one then not worth it IMO. You could have a look at the C63 replica ones but for me I want a genuine front bumper so thats not an option i would pick.
