2009 c300 upgrade to 2012 c300
Hi guys,
I currently own a 2009 c300 and paid about 34k for it and have roughly 15k left on it. My local dealership has a exchange program where you can upgrade and get a new 2012. I currently have about 26k miles on it. I guess i'm wondering would it be wise to trade in and go on a lease or would i just be throwing away money? Should i wait until i payoff my current car (which will obviously have more mileage on it and then trade up) ?
Sort of new at the lease idea but just want to get some opinions

I never leased and I don't like lease. Just heard from people saying that business owners like to lease because they can deduct tax. And if people want to have new cars every 2 - 3 years then lease makes sense.

Buying new and selling after 3 years - buyers like you are the reason I'm able to snag the 3-4yo CPO creampuffs with low miles. Keep it up! Thanks for eating the first 3 years of horrendous depreciation on my behalf

Actually bought it used.... Had 15k miles on it. I did a trade in with my old car so basically got car for mid teens. It was a two year old lease that was in mint and bought from a dealer. So technically I'm not the person you love that buys new and sells 3 years later, so I apologize for incorrectly saying I paid 34k.

I usually keep new cars for at least 10 years, or until someone hit me and the car is totalled. Therefore, depreciation does not matter much to me.
