Update: Grill is holding up great. Zero pits. Might have to do with the number of coats I put on.
On the other hand, front bumper is NOT holding up great. You won't notice at a glance, but the plasti dip seems to have had some adhesion issues (humidity maybe? Or maybe as it shrunk it got pulled off since it's on a curve) and there are several white pit marks.
Either way, I'm happy with the look and am confident enough to have it painted permanently. Not sure if or when I'll do that, but this weekend I will re-do the front bumper with my dehumidifier in the garage, really give the bumper a good cleaning, and several more coats this time.
It's been fun!
