I find it rather interesting that Michelin has no solution for "VANDALISM"! How about some ideas to Avoid, such as:

1) Avoid bar-room brawls
2) Forget about dating your best friends girlfriend
3) Breaking down in the wrong side of town, then leaving the car to get help
4) Don't speak critically about someone's motorbike while at Hooters
5) Beating the pants off a complete stranger for money along your neighborhood strip

your turn!

Nice list of typical damage ... I see little analysis.

Curious about the "sidewall impact pinch damage". I wonder if this is even possible on radically low aspect ratio tires, like 19's or 20's where it looks like 1" high sidewalls. I had thought that this was a thick, multi-ply side wall that would compress, but not bulge for the typical pinch flat.

^ Typical corporate CYA disclaimer literature.

My Michelin Pilot Super Sports don’t last through even half of their pro-rated ‘warrantied’ mileage.
A good friend owns the local Michelin store. “John,” he generously offers, “shall I submit these to HQ for a claim?”
“Of course not, you and I both know that their inordinate wear is from me beating the tar out of ‘em during HPDEs!”
They’re rightly considered merely another consumable.

Manufacturing defects are an entirely different matter.
Consumer protection statutes obviously vary by locale, although I’d insist your retailer promptly make you whole
with a new tire for that "sidewall lump” you’ve experienced at zero additional expense.

Take a few seconds off and have more fun with DOT competition tires on an exrta set of wheels. May need to upgrade front pads.
