Since there is no lip for the 2012s as of yet, this seems to be a nice alternative and for the one picture he provided it doe not look bad at all

Man i wish i had seen that like the first week i got my 08' C3, cos i was on my way back from work and it was raining so hard and i took a back roads home and ended up running up a small island medium that scraped the crap outta my two front lip corners.

Doesn't that lip flap in the wind? I remember seeing a thread on one of the VW forums where someone bought that moldable rubber lip (and one who just went to home depot and bought the same material and added double sided tape himself) and when they would drive at freeway speeds, the wind pressure with cause it to contort or flap in the wind emitting a high pitched hum.

Still nice looking car. I too am curious as to the possible high pitched hum.

^ this. gonna look much better since you get a better match with your sunroof. I got mine vinyl'd and i love it.
