New Wheels + H&R Super Sports!
I went with the Concept One RS8's + Hankook Ventus V12
The wheels are:
Front: 19x8.5 +47
Rear: 19x9.5 +50
The ride is considerably harsher than stock. But it handles MUCH better and looks fantastic! If I lived in an area where the roads are bad I think I'd really regret the combo. The tires produce quite a bit more road noise over stock as well. But did I mention that it looks great!? I'll enjoy the form over function while I'm still young enough that the trade-off is acceptable.
I just bought the car a few months ago and my only regret is that I didn't go with the C350. The 300's are slow as dirt (it feels a little slower with the larger wheels - BOOOO!). My last car was an Infiniti G35 and while they aren't the fastest cars out there, it was a LOT faster than the C300. The C was an impulse buy and apparently I was in a practical mood that day. Oh well, live and learn...maybe the next one will be a C63??![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Anyhow, heres a pic (yes, I know I need to resurface my driveway!):

Thanks guys.
xXHotelCrazyXx - I remember you from the G35 boards. Your G was pretty sick - definitely one of the best I've seen...if not at the very top. I'm not really into the whole 'blacked out' thing...I'll probably wrap the chrome around the windows, but I like the lower chrome. I've got some clear markers that I'll install this weekend. I thought about ordering the smoked lenses but I wanted them to match the headlights. I'm going to add a CF lip spoiler, CF diffuser, and trunk spoiler then a resonator delete - but that'll be about it. I really wish there were more performance options available for these cars. That's the one thing that drives me crazy...sometimes I wanna get out and push!
Thanks, victory - I think I made the right choice. As soon as I opened the box I was pretty stoked. I'm definitely going for a cleaner more subtle look...
I can't decide if I want to de-badge or not...it does clean up the rear quite a bit. The only reason I'm hesitant to do it is because I relate it to people who badge their C300 as a C63 on some level...I dunno. Maybe I'll just take off the 4matic badge...

Yeah - I know what you mean. I'm thinking about selling it for that very reason. But guys get killed in cars every day too. My first G35 was totaled by a guy txting while he was driving. I was sitting at a stop light and a Chevy 1500 plowed into me going about 50mph - he never even touched the brakes. Every time I get on the bike I think about that. Had I been on the bike, its entirely probable that I wouldn't have walked away from it. The G took the beating though - not me or the passengers. It folded up all around the cabin and we all went home safe. I loved that car...I got on a plane a couple days later and took delivery of another one up in VA. I wish I had kept that car! Especially after seeing how well yours is coming along!

I have the same rims, tires and drop. A word of advise, be very careful cleaning those RS8's. The polished SS lip is very thin and will dent at the slightest touch of a hard plastic surface from a brush. If you rap on them you will see they sound hollow. I've resorted to a pressure washer cleaning method.
