So for a while my passenger side mirror has been turning inward when putting the car in reverse. It then seems to go back to the programmed position shortly thereafter (never noticed exactly when it goes back.)

But the last few days I've been watching it and when I put the car in reverse it doesn't turn inwards any longer. Is this something that only happens based on "X". If so, what "X" condition needs to be met? Or is time for a dealer visit?

I assumed it automatically turned inward to help you see closer along the side of the vehicle so you don't hit something...but then why did it stop doing that? Thanks for any info.

You need to select the side mirror with the respective button when going in reverse.

I think it's only available with memory seats.
