New Manual C300 Member !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello all, I just got my new c300/manual a few days ago and i am really enjoying it. I am from Europe, but currently living in Tampa, FL. My previous car which i still have and its for sale is a 05 1.7 Civic/Automatic. So from a civic to a Manual C300 is really big upgrade for me and I'm so proud of it. Im still trying to get used to the manual tranmission though. My brother has a manual RSX type S so i was driving it once in a while, a couple more days and ill be ok with the benz. The guy that i bought the car was very awesome, he gave me the OEM wheels ( which I'm selling) and sound system in it , and some expensive bulbs i haven't had the chance to look at them. I haven't had any chance yet to play with the benz busy working cus i just bought it and I'm broke. Long story short, So here I am with my new benz, looking forward to make some mods. Really like Azn_C300 ride, and i really wanted a white one but the one i got is black. Don't know much about the c300 so i hope i get some help from you guys, in order to make my own c300 an EuroSwaged one Im looking for the sporty/classy look Some of the mods i want to do: Maybe an XPipe cus i can't even hear my baby but 1 i have to hear a c300 with Xpipe so i can hear how it sounds, cus i don't want to rice it out . Next, rear lip, diffuser , front lip, some interior details. etc. I really want to go to car shows and have sponsors and do this type of stuff. Thats for now. Thank you Guys. Here are the only pics i have , i haven't had the chance to do the first car wash yet. Ofcource the two bucket method Later Mbworld.

Welcome to the forum. Your car looks good and I'm loving your rims. I just started here also and just bought a C350 coming from a Mazda 6 which I did some mods to. I'm looking to do some mods to my car but not for shows but just to make it different from all the rest I see. In my area I live around allot of C300's from all likes of people but I want my C350 to stand out like my 6 did.

Having had a C300 automatic loaner recently, I can safely say that unless MB brings back *some* car that has a MT option, I'll be leaving the family when the time comes to buy a new car. So hard to fathom even the AMG cars don't have MT available...

After driving my son's new 328i manual Sportline, this won't be a difficult choice. But, I do want to try the about-to-be launched ATS rear wheel drive/stick with 2.0 liter 4 cylinder turbo with 274 hp!

Welcome to the board, guy!!! And congrats on the pick-up! I wish my 350 was manual And yeah Mike's (AZN) ride is most definitely one of my favorites!!! But you'll get all kind of ideas on here. Don't be afraid to ask questions either.... But just know in advance, that if you ever ask "What you guys think I should do to my car".... Well just don't ask And in my opinion... the MB itself is already classy and luxurious, and therefore any attempts to improve this aspect are futile... So I'm going to go all sport and hopefully, it'll end up Sport/Luxury???
Take care,
Mike

Everyone with a manual W204 should go on the TWMperformance.com site and send them an email asking them to make a replacement short shifter for our cars. I have sent them about 15 so far.

2011 C300 Sport, 6-speed manual
Well you can add another to this forum, we bought a 2011 C300 with a six-speed in December. My wife wouldn't even consider a car with an automatic, coming from a Miata. I'd say this doesn't shift as easily as a Miata--does anything?--but it works well with this V6.

Congrats on the new ride!
Manuals certainly make the drive more engaging.

You manual transmission fanatics... I am trying to locate service info for the the manual transmission... any one of you have any info what is needed to change the transmission oil? Are the plugs accessible, do you need to pump the fluid out / in? Is there a better fluid than what MB recommends for this unit? It seems my manual is a bit hard to shift when the temps are lower until the unit warms up a little... any help would be appreciated.
