2012 - C63 Diffuser adapter?

2012 - C63 Diffuser adapter?
Hey guys,
Just finished installing my C63 diffuser, but am worried about it falling off as the only thing securing it are the clips that clip on to the rear bumper.
I remember that on our 08-11, there was an adapter that we can use to secure it, but the person who sold me this diffuser told me that there were no adapters for this year. It appears that the diffuser comes with a tab to fit an adapter, but the old adapter definitely won't fit.
Those who installed C63 diffusers, did you find an adapter for the middle?
