2012 C200 CGI

2012 C200 intake + tune

Hi guys,

I have a 2012 C200 here in shanghai (beijing assembled) and looking into buying the intake + tune module from burger tuning. However their products are tested for the US model C250. My understanding is the 2012 C200 and C250 share the same engine at different boost? I'm assuming the intake would work for both cars but would the tuning module work as well?

I'm in Hong Kong and according to the distro here, it will work fine. However, your biggest issue is the crap gas you get in the mainland.

ya... 97 here is like 89 in north america... doesnt even have the smell of 91 octane

May be you can try the Brabus stage 2, my friend here he did it for his C250 so nice ! Prices is fine too

I got quoted a price of almost $30K HKD (around $3900 USD), I dunno how you think that price is fine

Yes, I asked Canful, here the email response they sent me:

B20:
B20 204-B20-00 (+26 hp & +30 Nm)
HKD 16770 + HKD 2000 for express charges

B20S
B20S 204-B20S-00 (+41 hp & +55 Nm)
HK 25350 + HKD 3500 for air freight charges.

B20 is a small electronic module connects to the engine ECU.
B20S set contains both a small electronic module connects to the engine ECU
and an extra inter-cooler on the vehicle.

Also, someone told me that Stage 2 came with ECU Tune, upgraded intercooler AND an upgraded valve/bypass?

canful motor hong kong = is the brabus dealer in hong kong, we guys paid as it is last year

Think the tuning box is diff. Same engine but diff turbo.

And think the software from the tuning box will be different.

Try search for SKG Performance in Hong Kong , they also have a tuning box if i'm right

like riding audi , MTM is the best and reliable ! MB , brabus is best and reliable ! directly coding from factory !!!

Brabus is still a piggyback isn't it? If so then the coding doesn't matter as it intercepts signals and modifies them. A real reflash would deal with coding.

BTW, I'm interested to know why you consider Brabus the best when there's Kleeman, Renntech, Carlsson etc.

Sorry, I meant to respond but forgot. Look up a group called MBHK.org. Their site is in Chinese though which is why I didn't join up. They used to be more English friendly.
