2009 c 300 4 matic

Vin number for bad balance shaft & gear

I would like to know if an '09 C300 with the 3.0L is in the range for having a bad balance shaft/gear. the Vin. # is WDDGF81X39F251117
Sorry, I do not have the engine number.
