Advice on Springs and Absorbers

Hi Bros,

I need your expert opinion on this...

When i bought my C class, it came with Bilstein sports suspension, very stiff. After driving a while, cranking noise was detected and workshop narrowed down to absorber problem. We then change the front 2 to original stock, and leave the back 2 as Bilstein. Noise went away.

my questions are:

1) is it OK to have front and back absorbers different? Any safety issue?

2) I feel that the front is now rather cushioned but back is kinda stiff, not sure if it's just my hallucination.

Any other concern you know, please do share with me.

Thanks alot Bros!

For Daily driving I would say it's not a big problem. Just up to your comfort preference.

Could be some safety issues on wet/slippery roads. If the front is not bouncy, put same shocks on rear, sell bilstein set.

Just to be sure, is it the B12 sport suspension, with H8 shocks and Eibach Pro-Kit springs?
