What a douche thing to say....Not that the OP is buying the car to be noticed as you say, but looking at the images of the 2013 Boxster on line, I would have to say anyone with an appreciation for cars WILL be looking as that things rolls up...I know, everyone in LA drives a Lambo yada yada yada....

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. As long as _you_ like it, that's all that matters. Enjoy your (soon to be) new car!

Congrats man! Awesome looking car, looks like it will be a big hit. While Benz is 1st for me, porsche is right there as my 2nd favorite, they are such great cars.

I can see you don't understand the name. It's a roadster with a boxer engine.

If you want to criticize names, work on Panamera.

I have no idea how they came up with Panamera but I kind of like it. Porsche names are some of my favorite in the industry.

Lol. I can't wait to check one out. Yeah, the previous one is just too small for me personally.

if I move on from my car at the end of the Lease, the only thing that's really tugging at the heart strings to push me to move on at the moment is the new 911. However it's SO damn expensive. Either way, "M-B to Porsche Club" would still be intact.

As for naming, Porsche names most (if not all) of their cars after races. THe Panamera's is after the "Panamerica".

I'd give up trying to make some understand. The Boy-Racers on here will never get it.
