C250 Hesitation/Bucking
Does anyone else notice a bucking feeling in the C250 in stop and go traffic? When I'm accelerating, at about 2000 RPM there is a feeling that something hesitaties or slips and it's not a gear change. I took it to the dealer and they said it's normal. The loaner car did the same thing but was not quite as noticable and it was a luxury versus mine which is a sport. I did not notice this at all until about 4 or 5 weeks of driving the car. I came from another 4 cylinder turbo that had no turbo lag so I'm used to driving a 4 cylinder turbo.

The hesitation is partially from the drive by wire. I've had the bucking also randomly though mine is more like engine braking. Dunno how many miles are on your car but I changed my plugs recently along with clean my k&n air filter and the hesitation has gotten better.

Are you in E or S mode when you experience this?
Mine occasionally will be a bit rougher than I would expect. It's also sometimes very hesitant (think 1-1.5 seconds) to kick down when floored. This is my first true automatic in 12 years - it was almost a dealbreaker for me... I long for a clutch pedal.

It happens in both E and S. The hesitation around 2,000 RPM seems more pronounced in S and it's more noticeable if your starting up an incline but can definitely feel it even on level road.

Stumbles accelerating
The problem you’re having with engine stumbling is tired ignition coils. Usually when engine gets hot they will start to get weak and that cylinder misfires. I had this happen with my c250 and read all the ‘it’s normal posts’. It isn’t normal and replacing the coils fixed it. You can find coil sets for less than 100 bucks online btw. I got mine from jc Whitney.
