I had the same problem. Unfortunately those buttons aren't replaceable parts. You will need to have your dealership replace the head unit. Best Regards,

From what I recall, Armour All and hand creams, etc. are really effective at making the "soft touch" paint peel. I have only wiped mine clean with a dry cloth and hope to not have to deal with the issue.
Maybe if you have an artist in the family they can repaint them all by hand and make it look good

Also, if it's actually peeling as you stated be sure to leave it alone. The dealership will want to see that it's peeling and not just worn off from use.

Not a warranty concern if there is any evidence of lotions etc, i have covered only 2 under warranty for numeric buttons worn off. Vents that are peeling are getting snuffed at as well because of the scented oil people clip onto their vents. It is causing the same type of peeling. Hope you have a friend at your local MB dealer.

Son of a *****
This is happening in my 2009 C300. I've had the car since new and have taken great care of it. I busted open EPC to see if I could find replacement parts and I can't. So I'm guessing the only options are talking with the dealer about warranty replacement or keeping an eye on junkyard/ebay parts
